I'm Jayson Saavedra. I live in Utah and I write software, mostly Rust, mostly running on Cloudflare or on hardware sitting on my desk.

SaavyLab LLC is my company, and it's just me. It owns textures.gg and the open source under github.com/SaavyLab and github.com/texturesgg, so this site is half company site and half personal site.

Melee

I played Melee competitively from about 12 to 20. I played every day, ran tournaments, and went to majors. I haven't played in like 8 years, but the decomp and the modding scene pulled me back in from the tech side.

Other stuff I'm into

Audio, both the math and the gear. My homelab. Agents that do real work. Making software feel fast. Off the computer, I work on a 1990 Miata and play sandbox games where the world keeps going without you.
